Guanabo Beaches are located in
Playa del Este Municipality, on the northern coast of Havana province, just 15
kilometers from the capital city of Cuba and approximately 30 minutes by car.
These beaches are characterized by a long stretch of white sand and crystalline
waters. ”El Mégano”, “Santa Maria del
Mar”, “Boca Ciega” and “Guanabo”.
Like in any other tourist destinations you can find bars, restaurants and nightclubs along the entire coastline. Between Guanabo and the capital city is Tarara Marina, an excellent place to enjoy diving and other water sports. Besides, Guanabo is near Cojimar, a place that inspired Ernest Hemingway to write his novel "The Old Man and the Sea".
